Spirituality
I was raised catholic and went through Catechism until I was 13 years old. Whatever your faith might be, it is all there to direct us to a place where we find meaning and understanding for the life we live. That being said, after 13 years I had a lot of questions that I could not get answered within Catholicism. I grew away from being invested in this practice and it took a few years after this to really start to understand where I was spiritually. I wanted to know what my connection to the world was and why I felt the way that I did. It is my belief that our souls live many lives. It is our past lives that we are able to gather experience and wisdom based on whatever our soul at that point needs to learn.
Each life we live, we are meant to carry out our soul's purpose for that life to better prepare and equip us for the next life we live and so on. We are trying to advance our soul through each life we live. Within this journey of our soul, we have spirit guides as well as what I call “soul level connections”. Have you ever felt like something or someone was watching over you? Or, maybe you’ve heard a whisper or heeded a thought that led you away from danger or a terrible decision. If any of this resonates, then you’ve already had contact with your spirit guides. You may be asking, “how does something that is not physical send signs that are physical?” Well every person and every soul is made up of energy. Energy is in everything, physical and non-physical. They speak to you in dreams, signs, and symbols. Sometimes, these entities will send small clues or leave breadcrumbs that lead you toward a bigger idea or goal. These usually show up as gut instincts, ideas, “downloads,” and synchronicities. Your guides can protect you from negativity or harmful thought loops, usher you through anxious or depressive thoughts, increase creativity, and help connect you with your soul’s true purpose. They’ll help you make tough decisions and often bring the right people into your life at the right times or send you clues that it's time to remove your energy from a situation.
Soul level connections are agreements you made before incarnating. We make certain agreements with other souls. Where it is determined which souls we will form essential relationships with during your life.
In the human form we forget our souls intentions, yes we as souls know the ones we will encounter but in physical form, we do not know who they are. This is the beauty of it. It is like amnesia, at soul level you recognise them but at the physical level you don’t.
So when we meet the souls we have pre-arranged to meet, we tend to be magnetized by the connection. At the physical level we can’t explain why we have such a deep connection with them. As a soul you have incarnated many times and lived many hard and luxurious lives, no matter the time and place we will always encounter the souls we need to exchange energy with. We will reincarnate over again and meet the same souls, that’s why we recognise people from past lives because we are familiar with the energy exchange.
Soul connections come in many forms. You meet someone new. You feel safe and comfortable around them. You believe you can tell them anything and they understand. It’s quite a strange feeling when you have just met. This is the feeling of knowing them your entire life. Time seems to fly when you are around them, you are just so connected to them that you forget about everything around you. They only bring peace and light to your world. You feel loved, cared and uplifted around them. These souls, you have known for a long time. And when in true alignment with one another, a relationship of some form has been written for you two in this life. Best friend, partner, husband, wife, mentor, ect.
Our soul journey and the ones we are supposed to meet in this lifetime are very intentional for what your path should be led to. Do not be confused though, it is free will that is of ultimate control. Choose to not be aware and work against what is being shown to you, and you just may find yourself out of alignment for your purpose. It is only until we begin to make amends with our decisions and become aware of our signs that we will start to find true alignment of our soul's purpose once again.
It is this conscious awareness and the spiritual practice of meditation that had led me to living what I know is my highest path. I love to share moments and synchronicities with others so they can see that there is no such thing as a coincidence in this life. All the people we meet and places we end up, are all meant to be there. We are impacted in some way from each circumstance we are brought into. Sharing stories of our synchronicities not only passes along good energy to one other but also makes people feel like there is something of higher power that is along with us on this journey. Never alone.
The more I practice my meditation and give gratitude for my life as it is and what it will be, the more synchronicities come my way. Which ultimately lead to the more clear I see my visions and path of this life. I give the example of driving in a dense fog when I was not meditating. No matter what I would do, I would be guessing where the road ahead of me was leading. So as I began meditating day after day, session after session, I began seeing the fog slowly clear out as I got better. I started to see ahead of me. Each session, the road and the decisions in front of me became clear.
With new found clarity, decisions that seemed tough or life altering from the outside became very simple for me to make. I knew with each choice I made in a given circumstance it was for me to be equipped with the necessary tools and experience I will need to carry out my souls purpose in this existence. I may not know everything that will come way and I most certainly expect difficulties throughout, but I know in my soul that I need go through those things. That right there is what I believe spirituality has given me. Then enjoyment of life’s journey and all that it entails. LOVE. COURAGE. REASSURANCE. FAITH.
